Apple-Pear Sauce

Makes approximately 96 oz

15 apples

5 pears

5 cups water

2 Tbsp coconut oil

1 Tbsp cinnamon

  1. Peel, core, and slice the apples and pears and place them in a large pot.
  2. Add 5 cups of water in the pot (or cover apples about 1/4 of the way with water).
  3. Add Coconut oil, place lid on top, and turn heat to medium. Allow mixture to boil, stirring  occasionally.
  4. Stir in cinnamon and mash up apples and pears. Take the lid off to allow some evaporation of water. Mixture should apear thick.
  5. Once it is cooked use blender to mix to desired consistency and pour into mason jars.
