There are a few ways you can make this dish. You can use it as a dip or a topping for raw apples (pictured) for a fun snack. Or you can dice up the apples place them in a glass dish place the cinnamon mix on top and bake it to make it more of a dessert.
1/2 cup chopped salted and roasted almonds
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
6 pitted dates
2 TBSP coconut oil
1 TBSP cinnamon
- Place all of the above ingredients in the food processor and blend to the consistency in the picture.
- Slice up apples and use as a dip or topping.
OR
- Place all of the above ingredients in the food processor and blend to the consistency in the picture.
- Heat oven to 350, dice up 2-3 apples spread them out on an oven safe dish and top with the cinnamon mixture.
- Cook in oven for 30 minutes.
