Looking for a healthy version of fried chicken legs? Look no further. These are simple and very tasty. Your pickiest eater will probably even enjoy it, I know mine did.
1/4 -1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
6-8 Chicken Drumsticks (skin on and bone in)
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
- Cover the bottom of a large skillet with coconut oil (oil amount will vary with pan size).
- Turn heat to med/high
- Season chicken with sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Place chicken in the pan seasoned side down, then season the other side of the chicken as well.
- Cook on med/high heat with the lid on and flip chicken as needed to prevent burning and to allow it to cook all the way through.
- You will know it is ready because the meat will be almost falling off the bone.
