I have served this meal to many people, everyone loves it. This sauce is an amazing alternative to tomato sauce for those avoiding nightshades. Making a big batch of this sauce and freezing it will reduce the prep time drastically. I love freezing this meal and reheating it in the crock pot.

Meat balls:

1 1/2 Lbs Ground Beef

1/2 Lb Italian Sausage

1/2 Sweet onion, diced

6 cloves Garlic, minced

6 Basil leaves, diced

2 Tbs Italian Seasoning

1 Tsp Black Pepper

1/2 Tsp Sea Salt

  1. Mix by hand all the above ingredients and form the meat into balls.
  2. Place the meat balls on the stove top cook until browned, turning as necessary.
  3. Once meat balls are cooked add sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Enjoy over Zucchini Noodles.
