My kids love hamburgers (ok my husband and I do too). These mini hamburgers are perfect on top of a tasty salad. This is the best way to eat a burger.
2 lbs ground beef
1/4 red onion diced
1/4 cup bacon pieces
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- In a mixing bowl add the ground beef, red onions, bacon, black pepper, sea salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and balsamic vinegar. Mix together with hands.
- Form ground beef into small hamburger patties and place them on the frying pan on medium heat. Once browned flip each burger to cook on opposite side.
- Use grease from hamburgers to sauté onions and or mushrooms (if desired).
- Make salad and place hamburgers on top. Drizzle salad dressing over it and top with fresh avocado or guacamole.
Things I love to use in this salad: Spinach, red leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, arugula, black olives, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, celery, green onions, sunflower seeds, pecans, sesame seeds, avocado.
