My kids love hamburgers (ok my husband and I do too). These mini hamburgers are perfect on top of a tasty salad. This is the best way to eat a burger.

2 lbs ground beef

1/4 red onion diced

1/4 cup bacon pieces

1 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar

  1. In a mixing bowl add the ground beef, red onions, bacon, black pepper, sea salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and balsamic vinegar. Mix together with hands.
  2. Form ground beef into small hamburger patties and place them on the frying pan on medium heat. Once browned flip each burger to cook on opposite side.
  3. Use grease from hamburgers to sauté onions and or mushrooms (if desired).
  4. Make salad and place hamburgers on top. Drizzle salad dressing over it and top with fresh avocado or guacamole.

Things I love to use in this salad: Spinach, red leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, arugula, black olives, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, celery, green onions, sunflower seeds, pecans, sesame seeds, avocado.
